Holly Vennell and Tammy Pearshouse
Five promising students on GCU London’s MSc International Fashion Marketing course have won a coveted scholarship from leading fashion retailer All Saints.
Anna Galbraith, Josh Cottrell, Holly Vennell, Ana Mladenovic and Tammy Pearshouse have all been selected for a top scholarship from the popular fashion label.
It is the second year that All Saints has offered the prestigious scholarship to students on the MSc International Fashion Marketing course. The partnership with All Saints highlights GCU London’s dedication to providing students with access to the fashion industry. The scholarship also shows GCU London commitment to working with industry leaders to develop and sustain its programmes and to ensure the academic and applied strengths of its courses.
Josh Cottrell from Brighton said: “I was over the moon to win the scholarship because without it there’s no way I would have been able to come to London and do the MSc – it terms of credibility GCU London is outstanding so I was really keen to study here.”
Ana Mladenovic from Battersea added: “The scholarship has been a godsend. Without it I don’t think I would be sitting here today doing the course. I looked around at quite a few fashion Masters in London but GCU London’s was the only one that really stood out to me as fulfilling every requirement of what I was after.”
Tammy Pearshouse, from Kent, said: “The course was exactly what I wanted to do, but there is no way I would have been able to do it without the scholarship. As soon as I found out that I had got an unconditional onto the course I kept my fingers crossed that I would also get the funding.”
Stephen Doyle, Director of Fashion and Luxury Programmes at GCU London, said: “The All Saints Scholarship provides an excellent opportunity for students to join the MSc in International Fashion Marketing and is indicative of the company’s commitment to education.
“As one of the UK’s leading fashion retailers the expertise and insights that it can offer students is particularly valuable. We are very grateful for its generous investment in our students.
“The five students selected have done very well to secure one of the scholarships. They all have valuable industry experience behind them, which shows commitment and determination to work in the fashion industry.”
The GCU London Masters in International Fashion Marketing is a one year (minimum) programme and will provide students with the business insight, fashion marketing expertise and personal skills necessary for today’s business world. Full information about the scholarship offer can be found <here>
