GCU London is offering a range of scholarships to support you in your studies. These are funded by industry, trusts and friends of the University.

Scholarships may cover fees, and/or provide a maintenance grant to support you during your studies.

Santander Scholarships

GCU is part of the Santander Universities' Network. The network covers over 700 universities in Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Germany, Ghana, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Venezuela, United Arab Emirates, UK, Uruguay and the USA. As part of this agreement, GCU London is offering scholarships for GCU London programmes that are funded by Santander Bank and the Santander Universities Network.

Value:  £5,000 towards fees


  • You must have submitted an application for a place on a GCU London programme
  • You MUST be from one of the following countries:

MBA Scholarships

Self-funded scholarships

25% scholarships are available for new self-funded students studying MBA Luxury Brand Management. Scholarship offers will be made based on information on your MBA programme application form. No additional application form is required.

Corporate sponsorship

Employers can demonstrate their commitment to employee career progression by sponsoring employees through a GCU MBA. Many organisations find MBA sponsorship a valuable way to attract, reward and retain talented employees who wish to take their careers to the next level.

The following corporate scholarships are available;

    • 25% scholarship to corporates sending 2 or more students*
    • 15% scholarship to corporates sending 1 student*

*corporate scholarships will only be applied if the full programme fee for the MBA is paid up front.

Please note: an applicant can only apply for one level of support (scholarship or scheme) at any one time. Awards are not additive. If an applicant is eligible for 2 awards, only the larger award will be given. Also, no scholarships will be offered to students who are already sponsored except as part of our Corporate Sponsorship scheme.

M&S Fashion Scholarship

‌Together with M&S, we are offering fully funded scholarships on the following programmes:

The scholarships focus on employability, professional development and an enriched academic experience. The M&S Fashion Scholars will be selected by a panel of fashion experts, and will also benefit from M&S mentoring and use of the M&S Studio at Fashion Street in GCU London.

To apply to become an M&S Fashion Scholar, you must have been offered a place, or have submitted an application for a place, on one of the above GCU London programmes.

Public Health Scholarship

The MSc Public Health Scholarship is a fee scholarship of £5,000 open to both Home and International students studying MSc Public Health at GCU London.

The programme will equip you with the skills, knowledge and competence necessary for leading cutting edge initiatives and programmes that promote equity in health. It brings together theory methods and action to provide the evidence base for sustainable investments in social action.

Value: £5,000 towards fees
Requirement: You must have been offered a place to study at GCU London before submitting your scholarship application.

Eligibility & Requirements

For every scholarship, you must have submitted an application for a place on a programme at GCU London. If you have not done this your scholarship application will not be considered.

In addition to meeting the academic requirements that each programme demands, each Scholarship has different eligibility criteria, some being programme specific or depend on the country where you are normally resident. Please read the eligibility criteria below carefully and only apply for suitable scholarships.

Recipients of scholarships may be expected to undertake certain conditions requested by the funder such as meetings with the donor and/or submitting a report on your experience as a scholar.

How to apply

Read the scholarship criteria above and select the appropriate Scholarship to apply for. All applications must be submitted through the online Scholarship portal. Simply register and complete your application. You may save and return to your application at any time.

GCU Alumni Fee Discount

A discount of 20% off taught or research postgraduate programmes is available to students starting in 2015/16 who have received their undergraduate or postgraduate taught or research degree qualification from GCU London.

Discounts of 20% apply to the privately funded part of the course fee for every year of study.

How to apply

Simply mention you are a GCU graduate when applying for your course and the discount will be deducted (after any third party funding has been deducted). The fee applies to taught/research masters programmes and PhD programmes both full-time and part-time.

Please note

  • CPD and short courses are not eligible for this discount
  • Where a student is eligible for both an Alumni Fee Discount and another Scholarship, the highest discount applies
  • Discounts cannot be backdated
