MSc International Tourism Management - Suite
Course Overview
Specifically designed for high calibre graduates and professionals, this course aims to meet the needs of those who are involved in, or aspire to work, in international tourism – one of the fastest growing economic sectors in the world, in terms of job creation and foreign exchange earnings - and is delivered by staff from the internationally-renowned Moffat Centre for Travel & Tourism Business Development.
This one year course provides a common core of modern management skills and knowledge of international developments in the travel sector, and is flexibly designed to maximise the opportunity to specialise in either:
- Tourism
- Hospitality
- Heritage
- Events
Students will have the leadership skills and essential knowledge to build successful careers in business, as well as an insight into the many complex factors involved in a management career in the international travel and tourism industry.
Applicants who secure a place on the course may be eligible for a Moffat Centre scholarship to help fund their studies.

Course Structure
The course covers area such as tourism policy, planning and development, visitor operations and experience, responsibility, development and travel, and tourism destination marketing.
Entry Requirements
Candidates should have a UK Honours degree 2:2 or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Alternatively applicants with relevant work experience will be considered.
