Bipasha oversees and provides academic direction on research methods training on a range of programmes. She is the Module Leader for Research Methods; Research Project Design and Methods and Dissertation modules and one of the Equality and Diversity Champions for GCU London.

Bipasha has worked as an academic psychologist as both teacher and researcher for over 20 years, with a specific interest in inequalities research. A key area of research has been Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), specifically the experiences of South Asian women, with a view to improving interventions. More recently she has led NHS and NIHR funded research on sexual health technologies. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, produced book chapters, book reviews, co-authored a government-funded report and presented at national and international conferences on these research topics. She has previously held senior lectureships at University of East London and University of Greenwich. She is also currently a trustee of Asha (South Asian women’s domestic violence project).
