Ruth obtained her PhD from Manchester University, which explored strategy planning in e-commerce. She is currently Programme Leader for MSc International Fashion Marketing and MSc Fashion and Lifestyle Marketing.
Ruth has over 30 years experience of working as an academic in the University sector and has published articles, chapters in text books and presented at national and international conferences for over 20 years.
As well as an active researcher and lecturer, Ruth is the Learning and Teaching Lead at the Glasgow Caledonian University London campus with responsibility for quality assurance processes within the School.
External appointments include External Examiner at Brighton University, University of Roehampton and Winchester School of Art. External engagement includes PhD Examiner at Manchester University. Ruth is a member of the British Academy of Management.
