Certificates are legal documents. They should be kept in a safe place and not laminated. We do not certify photocopies of certificates.
Confirmation of Awards
- If you want us to confirm your award to prospective employers and others who contact us, please give us permission by filling in the Confirmation of Awards authorisation form.
- To confirm an award we require the fee of £30.00 to be paid through our Online Store. Once payment and the Confirmation of Awards authorisation form has been received we will aim to send out the confirmation of award within 10 working days. Please note this may be longer during peak times.
- We issue replacement certificates only in exceptional circumstances, for example, if yours is damaged. We reserve the right to deny replacement copies. To request a replacement, please complete a GCU replacement certificate request form and pay a fee of £60.00 through our Online Store. Once payment and the Replacement Certificate form has been received we will aim to send out the replacement certificate within 10 working days. Please not this may be longer during peak times.
- If you graduated before 1993 with a CNAA/SQA award we cannot give you a replacement certificate. You should contact the Open University Validation Services or www.sqa.org.uk.
