What happens when I arrive at GCU London?

You will be directed to the Reception areas where you will register your attendance at the ceremony. You will be given a ticket with your seat number for the Church where the graduation ceremony takes places. You must sit in the seat allocated to you. You will also be given your guest ticket. Registration opens at 12 noon and will close at 1.30pm sharp.

When should I arrive?

You must arrive at GCU London campus to register your attendance at the ceremony at 12 noon sharp. Registration will close at 1.30pm sharp. It is vital you arrive promptly as no latecomers will be allowed to register. You will not be allowed entry to the Church and will not graduate or receive your award parchment at the ceremony. There will be no exceptions to this ruling.

What if I arrive late for the ceremony?

You will not be allowed entry to the ceremony. You will be put together graduation "in absentia and your award parchment will be posted to your home address approximately 2 weeks after the ceremony.

What if I don’t turn up for the ceremony as planned?

You will graduate in absentia. We will post your certificate to your home address by recorded delivery, approximately two weeks after the ceremony.

If, for any reason, you are unable to attend the ceremony, please let us know by emailing to graduation@gcu.ac.uk from your GCU email account. Please ensure you provide your Student ID number and full name.
